This black and lightly murky wine is stubborn on the nose. The palate brings along some cola, vanilla extract, licorice and dried blackcurrants. The finish is fast and a bit tough, with a moisture-stripping sensation that highlights the alcohol. The medium-plus acidity is somewhat disjointed as well, heightening the harshness of the raw tannins. Try with a fatty piece of beef, and enjoy it now.
