This neon yellow wine with a tiny, watery rim sports a big and voluptuous nose. It’s packed with melted butter and baked yellow apples and highlighted by touches of straw and chamomile. The palate is oddly spritzy—in a vigorous way—and there is a tannic sensation to the wine from attack to finish. Medium bodied and moderately broad across the palate, it has heft. Nicely round and succulent, with a lingering finish and considerable oak influence, enjoy it now–2019.
