Midnight black at the core, this wine has a stubbornly dense nose. With time, it smells of potting soil and briar patch fruits doused with a mineral tone. It is full bodied, with bustling tannins and crisp acidity that balance the generous extraction and dense fruit flavor. The impressively fresh and moderately long finish gives this good viability at the dining table. While it drinks well now, this wine has staying power. Drink now–2023.
