Showing a lightly reduced nose, this wine smells of ground slate, cantaloupe, green tea and tapioca. The bold palate drives on a crushed rock tone, followed by fresh-picked green tomato. Despite the light palate feel, there is good length and plenty of layers here, indicating that the wine should open up and thrive with time in bottle. Drink now–2020.
