This Sauvignon Blanc is youthful, gleaming and pale with a light straw color. The aromas of green grass, slate, white grapefruit and anise are almost startlingly forward. Slightly sweet on the attack, the lean, citrusy flavors and high acidity make certain this wine feels as though it finishes dry. There is even a faint and pleasant tingle of tannin on the short length. Drinks like a Sauvignon Blanc from a very cool climate, especially as the alcohol seems deceptively low.
