The red-tinged black core is nearly opaque. Incredible freshness on the nose derives from a mélange of hard-stemmed herbs: thyme, rosemary and sage. This is densely flavored on the palate yet shows only moderate viscosity. Muscular and drying tannins, full body and medium-plus alcohol lead to a rather short finish. Drink now–2013 with rustic food.
