Deeply colored, this wine’s dark crimson core is bright and reflective. Its nose is youthful and forward with minerals, fresh rosemary, cranberry, strawberry and lingonberry. There’s no new oak here, just juicy fruit and earthiness. The medium weight, powdery tannins and mouth-watering acidity make this wine good for a broad array of uses. The finish shows some persistence and the medium concentration suggests this wine should develop well in the mid term. Drink 2013–2016.
