Dark maroon at the core, this wine has a small crimson meniscus. The nose smells of sweet berries, blueberry preserves and maple syrup. The palate broadens the flavor dimensions with strawberry jam, vanilla extract, Cuban cigar and grilled meat. The midpalate is creamy, the tannins are caressing and the acidity is roaring. This style just might convert American wine drinkers to Bordeaux after all! Drink now through 2018.
