Medium-deep yellow in color, this wine has a somewhat restrained nose. Still, there’s a good bit of ripe yellow pear, toasted brioche, mirabelle plum and citrus peel. The attack and finish are impressively dry, giving this wine oomph and vigor. It drinks fine alone, but with its dryness, significant complexity and long length, it would show best with sophisticated food. Medium-weight in body, with integrated acidity and fine bubbles, this is a model of elegance. Drink 2015–2020.
