This is an overt, demonstrative Chardonnay with aromas of toasted brioche, vanilla extract, coconut, poached pear, roasted pomelo, chamomile tea and fennel bulb. It is appealingly exotic in aromatics! Bold and broad on the attack, the palate is rounded, moderately weighty and intensely viscous. The oak influence is evident but blends well with the nicely concentrated fruit. Its finish is moderate, suggesting it is best now and over the next few years.
