Vibrant, daffodil yellow in the glass, this wine has a fairly generous number of small bubbles. Its aromas are reticent but show some typical sparkling wine toastiness alongside an array of apples. The palate is medium-bodied, with moderate flavor complexity and a lovely yeastiness, especially on the medium finish of toasted white bread, rhubarb and yellow tomato. It shows typical blanc de blancs character, with its chalky texture and searing acidity. Drink now through 2017.
