Showing a deep, youthful nose of ripe bramble fruits, this wine has a hedonistic nose. It starts with sweetly plump baked figs sprinkled with balsamic. The sumptuous palate layers on dense black fruits and savory spices. It feels vigorous in structure and the tannins feel plucky and almost spicy, but the acidity is very tame. It’s a nicely integrated wine overall. Drink now–2022.
