Chardonnay (Hunter Valley)

This pale and watery-rimmed wine has a light, bright and fragrant nose of cantaloupe rind and mint. Crisp and medium-bodied, it has a tingly palate rimmed with sweet spice and toasted hazelnut. There is a lightly cheesy tone on the finish alongside lively notes of quinine and cucumber. This is a zippy white to enjoy as an aperitif. Drink now–2020.
