This wine’s core is as dark as pavement. The nose offers touches of licorice and black currant. The clean palate brings on an unusual combination of crunchy blackberry, açai and tart rhubarb. The wine is full bodied yet feels thin on the awkward palate. Its acidity is perky and slightly disjointed, while its tannins are moderate, with a touch of roundness until the short finish.
