This rust-inflected, cranberry-tinged wine shows subdued aromas of rose petals, cinnamon and pomegranate. The medium-bodied palate has some midpalate flesh, along with flavors of mulberries and boysenberries. Definitely old school and rustic in style. The moderate finish is carried through by the integrated medium acidity and relaxed tannins. This is best enjoyed with classic Spanish tapas and would do well with a touch of chill. Drink now through 2017.
