The firm, choppy tannins are a bit unforgiving and are accentuated by the nervous acidity. Medium in body, with moderate concentration, the wine manages a modest finish. Not especially profound, it is quite typical for an inexpensive Bordeaux-style blend and perfectly tasty enough. Drink through 2016.
