A deep claret hue with black inflections and intense ruby rim. The nose is fragrant and brimming with youth. Modest in complexity with fraises des bois and underbrush notes mingling with hints of wet, wild boar. Lightly stalky tannins and supporting acidity frame the full body and evident alcohol. A foursquare and rustic wine to consume by the end of 2013.
