Jet black at the core, with a bright maroon rim, the nose of this wine smells like baked berry cobbler with a cinnamon highlight. Flavors of dusty earth, horse saddle and asphalt fill in on the palate. Refreshing acidity works with restrained and creamy tannins to support the full body, light glycerol and hint of alcoholic warmth. Masculine and pleasantly rustic, this is likely at its drinking peak.
