Dense black at the core, this wine is flushed with a red cherry color at the rim. The nose is lovely and delicate, with rose petal, anise, sage and cherry leading the way. There’s a subtle elegance about this bottling that moves beyond its aromatic core. The tannins are soft and non-obtrusive while the acidity is invigorating, making a wine that brings hard-to-resist silkiness and layers of complexity. Drink now through 2019.
