This wine is somewhat murky at the core, giving it the look of an unfiltered wine. Its nose is soft and advancing, smelling of fallen leaves, old leather and bruised cherries. The palate is gently accommodating with round tannins but brisk acidity focuses the baked rhubarb, raspberry tart and strawberry shortcake flavors. Short on the finish, this is ready to enjoy now through 2017.
