Pale yellow in color, with a large watery rim, this wine looks fresh and vibrant. The nose smells of flax seed, dried oatmeal and golden raisins. The palate is a touch astringent, with light and pleasant phenolics, hints of chlorophyll and freshly ground white pepper. Medium-minus in body, this pairs well with a broad possibility of lighter foods. Drink up while it’s fresh as the modest finish suggests there is little additional benefit to offer from aging. Drink now through 2017.
