Dark cotton-candy pink in color, this wine smells of fresh strawberries and marshmallows. The palate follows in a similar direction, with watermelon, candied cherry and light spice. Dry from the attack through the moderate finish, it's perfect as an apéritif but serious enough for most lighter summer time meals. Its moderate length, integrated and lifting acidity and light tannic touch sugggest it may hold better than many rosatos. Enjoy now through 2017.
