Brilliant yellow in color, with topaz inflections at the gold core, this wine smells of incense and marzipan. Full bodied and somewhat oxidative in style, it has notes of orange pith, nectarine and beeswax on the medium-bodied palate. Brightly balanced by invigorating acidity and generous juiciness, this is a great Chardonnay or Viognier alternative. It will pair well with butternut squash soup or mild Indian curries.
