This pale, straw-colored wine is low-key on the nose, with hints of hay and Spanish almonds. The palate perks up with lanolin, baking spices, pluot and white peaches. Light bodied and gentle on the attack, the wine becomes perkier as it unfolds its attractive pithy phenolics. It has sexy, curvy hips thanks to its generous viscosity. This wine has an easy to enjoy vibrancy, but its modest finish suggests it would be a mistake to wait too long to drink it. Enjoy now through 2018.
