Profound garnet center with scarlet streaking and cherry meniscus. On the nose, minerals and hemlock show alongside the restrained prune fruit. Crushed leaves, black pepper and filet mignon join on the palate. The full body and pronounced alcohol deliver a lightly creamy texture on the palate that is accentuated by the soft though abundant tannins. Overall, the wine shows a nice harmony between breadth of mouthfeel and good flavor intensity. Drink now to 2019.
