This wine is inky black in color, with a dark magenta rim. It smells and tastes of sweet plums, black cherry pie filling, cola and a copious amount of cinnamon. It is dense, muscular and supercharged in fruit concentration. Yet, even with a lingering finish, it is only moderately complex in flavors. The gossamer tannins and vivacious acidity offer delightful refreshment on this silky textured wine. It shouldn’t have a problem making friends with its rich, spicy and exotic front-palate.
