Star-bright in appearance, this is a dry, spicy wine on the attack. Its racy acidity nicely balances the moderate body and lightly leesy midpalate. The flavors are diverse and not shy: cotton candy, pomelo peel and grapefruit. However, the phenolic side of the wine emphasizes these citrusy qualities and makes it a bit scruffy, despite its medium-length finish. Try with food, and enjoy now–2019.
