Star bright and yellow in appearance, this wine has a moderately aromatic nose. The palate is surprising, however—what smelled only of fresh apples on the nose shows a strong layering of burned popcorn pith and highly evident phenolics. The fruit seems to have petered out in the aging process. No longer superfresh, this wine should probably be enjoyed soon.
