An Old World-style Pinot, dried red cherry, raspberry and cranberry fruit rise above an herbal, medicinal layer. Bone dry on the palate, some floral flavors enter the mix, but the muted tannins dull out the finish a bit. This one should improve over the next 2–3 years, so try after 2019.
