Medium, lemon pulp color with flashing reflections. Rose water, lychee, geranium and lily grace the pronounced nose. There’s an underlying spiciness from ginger notes as well as an undertoned yeastiness. The wine is quite dry on the attack with a lightly viscous texture. This is an unctuous white that carries well its medium weight thanks to supporting acidity. Holds well now to 2015, possibly longer. A good value for a Grand Cru.
