This youthful and posh fruit-driven wine shows a lot of aromatic charisma. There are bushels of blackberries, ripe black plums and generous layers of cinnamon and brown sugar crumble. Youthful tannins are sleek and firm, and their dryness feels accentuated by the wine’s racy acidity. The complex finish moves into darker tones of beetroot, black currant and tobacco leaf. This beauty is only getting started and could even use a bit more time in the bottle now. Drink 2019-2023.
