Meyer lemon, Canary melon and pastry crust fill this wine’s nose and palate. It’s a succulent one with its palate-filling sweetness beautifully balanced by a mouth-wrapping viscosity and judiciously placed acidity. This wine has a beautifully pungent layer of ripe fruit that hangs on into the medium finish dominated by quince paste. It’s one of those fascinating Rieslings that starts sweet then finishes surprisingly dry without skipping a beat. Drink now–2024.
