This wine is exceptionally aromatic. It starts with honeysuckle and persimmon on the nose then moves into pastry crust and lemon curd on the palate. There, the wine shows a touch of foxiness then moves into sweet lashings of over-ripe mango and butter-drenched phyllo dough. Showing a medium body with substantial heft, this bottling shows surprisingly modest acidic tension. Drink now–2020.
