Deep yellow in color, it’s wildly effusive with honeysuckle on the nose that, with aeration, pleasantly veers towards deeply inviting musky old perfume bottles. The palate starts broad and bold, but quickly turns flat. There’s some tannic tug to aid the lift of the mild acidity, but the balance is nonetheless disjointed. The short finish shows lightly bitter tones. Drink now–2019.
