This dark, inky wine has a mildly evolved nose, with a cigar tone riding over roasted black fig. With time in the glass, the wine shows more custard and coconut notes followed by richly charred tones of walnut hull and maple syrup. Full-bodied and showing pronounced alcohol, this oily wine leeches onto the palate with moderate acidity and choppy tannins.
