This wine is restrained on the nose, offering no more than a quiet mineral-driven tone. With aggressive aeration, shy notes of blackberry and black currant come forward. The palate offers a mirror image to the aromas. It’s a full-bodied wine with zippy acidity and feisty tannins, the duo of which seem to clip the finish short. Drink now–2020.
