Dark colored and mostly plummy on the nose, this wine offers a violet highlight that is rather intriguing. It is dense and toothsome on the palate, thanks particularly to the clingy, satin-like tannins and relaxed acidity. Its fig flavor is linear in feel, with just a hint of sweet spice. Drink now–2020.
