This wine has a strong mulberry fruit tone accompanied by a delightful combination of Assam tea and barbecue spice. The palate is generously full and rich but not at all heavy. Showing fresh acidity, this is a wine that can be paired across a wide array of dishes. It’s very enjoyable, but given that its finish is short and its flavors are already heavily evolved, it is ready to drink up. Drink now–2020.
