Dynamic on the nose with in an exotic array of fruit, this rambunctious and juicy red showcases a wide array of red and black stone fruits along with a whisper of cigar humidor. The acidity is well-placed with good refreshment that seems to pull the deep fruit flavors into a lingering finish dominated by damp earth and savory spice. Mild tannins call for hearty food, however, this can sip on its own when one’s up for a moody Cabernet Sauvignon. Reserve this one for winter months and enjoy on the earlier side. Drink now–2020.
