Engaging on the nose, this berry-driven wine is youthful, pure and minerally. The fruit profile of black cherry, black plum and cassis dramatically unfolds across the smooth mouthfeel. There’s excellent acidic zip and vaguely grainy tannins to counterbalance the medium body. A blueberry flavor saturates the palate through the considerably long finish. Drinking well already, this has a good way to go, along with plenty of concentration to help it unfold nicely in time. Drink now–2022.
