This wine offers an enticing nose of crushed blackberry, cracked black pepper and tapenade. The palate shows a jumble of black fruit flavors accented by licorice. It is saturated in feel and noticeably warm, but nonetheless pleasant even if not complex. Clean and fairly youthful, it will thrill many imbibers with its nudgingly soft tannins and integrated acidity. Drink now–2022.
