There is an enticing medicinal lift on the nose of this deeply colored red. It starts with herbal aromas reminiscent of amaro, then escalates into camphor and eucalyptus. Full in body, with a grainy streak of tannins and a bustling acidic lift, it has plenty of structure. With time in the glass, sultry mulberry and black cherry notes lead to a generous finish.
