This wine’s shy nose takes some coaxing to reveal notes of pine needle-laden forest floor, dryed rose petals and smashed cherries. The palate, however, has a supple juiciness heightened by lively acidity. The tannins are tender, adding a gentle grip on the medium-bodied palate that plays into a youthfully fruited finish.
