Rich in color and dancing with fresh blackberry on the nose, this hearty red shows immediate appeal. The palate is supple in ripe fruits and vivid flavors. While the fruit power is full-blast, the diversity of flavors is limited. On the palate, there is some mild milk chocolate—almost reminiscent of a Swiss Miss hot chocolate—and cracked black pepper. The finish is swift. However, this is overall very drinkable thanks to the harmony of intensely ripe fruit, velvety tannins and lifting acidity. Drink now–2022.
