Showing beautifully mature notes of spice, toasted walnut and dried red berry, this wine’s nose is very come-hither. There is also a tell-tale notes of iron and rust that characterizes classic Coonawarra Cabernet. It is smooth and velvety, showing that its time in bottle has allowed firm tannins to settle down. Drink this with gusto now, but the wine’s vivacious tension and seamless, lightly dusty tannins will give it the support to see many more years in bottle. Drink now–2025.
