Rather flat and lacking freshness on the nose, this limp wine smells of stewed fruit sprinkled with Christmas spice. The palate is equally underwhelming. The acidity is sharp and the tannins are choppy. Black currant and plum show on the palate along with overtones of baked bricks and dried earth. The finish is brief. Drink now.
