Packed with blueberry, blackberry and cracked pepper, this is a forward and spicy wine. While smooth, succulent and highly viscous in a palatecoating texture, there is nonetheless a good acidic liveliness to lift it up. The tannins are firm and lightly drying on the finish, adding additional framing. The medium-length finish shows a hint of alcoholic heat that isn’t unpleasant. Drink now–2024.
