A classy, barrel-fermented Chardonnay, this glistening and bright wine smells of golden apples and nectarines kissed with toasted hazelnut and nougat. Medium in weight, with a curvy and velvety palate, the vivacious acidity lends some sassy energy. Incredibly young, this will flesh out in the bottle in time, though it drinks perfectly well now. The mildly clingy feel on the finish ensures that the flavors of toasted brioche and poached orchard fruits linger on. Drink now–2024.
