A bit cherubesque with its fleshy and custardy palate, this generous, flavor-filled Chardonnay is nicely supported by well-placed acidic tension. Concentrated and intense flavors of Comice and Concorde pears show attractively alongside toasty tones of pecan waffles and a hint of butterscotch. The medium-length finish with a lightly earthy tinge suggests this complex wine should evolve nicely for several years. Drink now–2025.
