Deeply colored and showing initial signs of advancement in its garnet rim, this wine is settling in nicely after a few years in bottle. There is an evident savory angle that develops with time in the glass, replete with garrigue and dried lavender. Full-bodied with grippy tannins, punchy acidity and some toasty, new oak tinges, this is well-balanced and highly drinkable now, especially with hearty fare. Drink now–2023.
